Utah Motorsports Campus (UMC) is a world-class, state-of-the-art motorsports and events venue located in Grantsville, Utah. The 511-acre facility, nestled in the Tooele Valley between the Oquirrh and Stansbury Mountains, is just 35 minutes from Salt Lake City.
UMC is considered the finest and most diverse motorsports facility in North America. Originally opened in 2006 as Miller Motorsports Park, it was named “Motorsports Facility of the Year” by the Professional Motorsport World Expo in Cologne, Germany, during its first year of operation. Racing surfaces include a 4.5-mile, multi-configurational road racing track, a 0.9-mile karting facility, an eight-acre Rock Crawling Course, a seven-acre skidpad, a 22-acre high-speed Off Road Short Course with covered grandstand seating for approximately 14,000 and a unique rallycross course that hosts the Nitro World Games. UMC hosts a variety of professional and amateur racing series for karts, automobiles, off-road vehicles and motorcycles. It is also home to a number of motorsport-related businesses, as well as the UMC Fun Depot for family-fun games and entertainment.
In addition to its motorsports activities, UMC specializes in creating custom-designed corporate and group events with conference and classroom facilities available complete with full catering and audio-visual options. The facility hosts events for small and large groups, including track and meeting-space rentals, banquets, concerts, conventions, bike and terrain races, obstacle races, weddings, corporate training, management retreats, team-building events, group participation events, reunions and corporate meetings and events of all types. The facility is also used for manufacturer media events, product launches and dealer training as well as film and television production.
UMC has a variety of meeting spaces to accommodate groups of all sizes. The 22,000-sq. ft., trackside UMC Event Center overlooking the final corners on the racetrack features a premium view of the track through ground-to-ceiling windows. The building’s 58’ x 60’ (3,480-square-foot) banquet facility, known as Legends Hall, seats up to 244 people and features full A/V, WiFi and power connectivity, as well as a stage and multiple flat-panel video monitors. It is customarily used for conferences, parties, meetings and banquets.
In addition to Legends Hall, the UMC Event Center also features a 76’ x 20’ (1,520-square-foot) lounge/restaurant that seats up to 144 people, a full-service restaurant kitchen, plus an exclusive 50’ x 20’ (1,000-square-foot) Executive Level that seats up to 72 people with a private conference room and a smaller service kitchen. In addition, there are a variety of classrooms, meeting rooms and hospitality suites onsite. Full audio-visual support is available in all rental spaces, as is WiFi and catering.
